I was born in a rural town in East TN called Bristol. I was very lucky to have been brought into a family and community with a deep passion for the arts. My first (and most esteemed credit) was a mouse in Cinderella at the age of three. Later that year at Christmas time, I was promoted to a rat in The Nutcracker.
As I grew, my passion for the arts and dance flourished. I danced with the Bristol Ballet Senior Company throughout high school under the instruction of Michele Plescia. My favorite role with the company was the Wicked Witch of the West and Miss Gulch in The Wizard of Oz when I was fifteen. Other credits include Dulcinea in "The Dream" Don Quixote, Russian Soloist/Flower Demi-Soloist in The Nutcracker, the March Hare in Alice in Wonderland, and Fairy of the Golden Vine in Sleeping Beauty. I performed on multiple occasions with Theatre Bristol as well as being a member of the TB Youth Service Board. Between the years 2016 and 2021, I served as the Communications/Media Assistant, Secretary, and President.
At the age of sixteen, I was awarded the Teresangela Schiano Memorial Scholarship by the Bristol Ballet Board of Directors. I stated upon receiving the award, “I believe every dancer in the company deserves this award and I am honored to be chosen. I hope to make Miss Schiano and her family proud.” In March of 2020, I was chosen to attend Arts Advocacy Day at the Tennessee State Capitol and serve as a youth advocate for Bristol Ballet and Theatre Bristol.
I have had several opportunities to work with and performed original works by Jessie James, Addison Ector, & Megan Fairchild, and have attended summer intensives such as South Carolina Summer Dance Conservatory. In October of my senior year, I settled on moving to Manhattan, NY, to study Dance Theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
I am a strong believer in work ethic, proper training, empathy, teamwork, and mentoring the next generation of artists. I am an advocate for exposure to the arts for children and the needed change of harsh body standards in the dance industry. I am a lover of the color pink, a Matte Nail bar manicure, cats, flowers, essential oils, and coffee. I would love to get to know you!
